Toofless
For the last moth, one of Zoe's top front teeth has been loose - so loose that its pretty much bee dangling for the last fortnight. And like any six year old, Zoe's delighted in showing it off, pushing it with her tongue and otherwise worrying it to death, but really unwilling to actually pull it out.
Finally, today it came out.Strike up a chorus of All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.
Its worth noting: in stark contrast to the last week, we're committed to giving you the breaking news as it happens here in Hammerland. This story and accompanying picture were posted within five minutes of the actual event!

This morning on the way to school:
Zoe: Daddy! The tooth fairy gave me FIVE dollars for my tooth!
Dad: Really? Five whole dollars? Wow... that's a lot. Of course, it is one of those valuable front teeth.
Zoe: Yeah Daddy... A REAL five dollar bill. Not play money. A REAL five dollar bill.
Zoe fell silent at this point. I look in the rear view mirror to see her working on that remaining big, front tooth. Natch.
